whenever I see "do some research" in comments I know they mean "go find the same sources as I did that support what I already believed anyway"

Your wrong about the Clinton Remark. Please do some research on that. But no harm no foul because you didn't linger too long on it. But other then that loved the guest and podcast.

The end where she compared Hilary to George Washington was total fucking cringe.

The Australian (British) fellow says that most of the people on Long Island considered themselves British and were defending themselves against the ghastly interlopers from New England. False! Most of the people that settled the Setauket area were from New England. Example, Caleb Brewster, a 6'4" giant that they depicted as a tiny man was a direct descendant of William Brewster who wrote the Mayflower Compact. The Strongs are direct descendants of Elder John Strong of Plymouth Colony. The Talmadges were of Puritan New England descent and the church of Rev. Talmadge was a Puritan Presbyterian Church. The Netflix series for which Rose wrote eliminated the 2nd oldest Church of England in America, the Caroline Church, which stood next door to the Puritan Presbyterian Church. It was never occupied by the British and they attended services there while making the Presbyterian church their stables. But even the Church of England Priest denounced the soldiers from the pulpit and some of the biggest patriots are buried in that church cemetary such as Captain Benajah Strong who served directly under Major Talmadge and was the cousin of Selah Strong depicted in the Netflix series. Rose and the TV series depicted the Culper ring as a small band, but there is plenty of oral and circumstantial evidence to show that it was part of a general resistance to British rule.
