This is how I fixed my Steam connecting to PlayStation network friends in helldivers 2, my friends would not show online and some of them were even removed from my friends list. This might also help if you are still having crashing issues with Helldivers 2.

I've been experiencing odd crashes since the new update. I'd be able to play for like two minutes, then the game just suddenly closes. Most recently, I'd be in a game with friends, and suddenly, I'm alone mid-mission.

I've checked integrity, and it found one file to reaquire. Still crashes, I uninstalled and reinstalled. Haven't tested it yet.

If it still crashes, I'll give this a go and let you know if it fixes it for me.
