My problem isn't with having to link a PSN. You can easily make a throwaway account with a different password. My problem is with PSN _not being available_ everywhere. That's the messed up part.

We need to make a lot of noise on this and give Sony the double bird salute. For our security, for our fellow Helldivers who are unable to legally get a PSN account, and for the mere principle of the action.

Do not doxx, threaten or take any other malicious action toward Sony or Arrowhead as a company or toward their staff. Let them feel the weight of the Helldivers in active player counts, in the review pages, in the few real journalism sites, and - most importantly and where it will hurt the most - their market cap.

Steam has been hit by a data breach exactly once way back in 2011, while Sony has been hit 9 times by hackers.
I'm not sure how having more accounts is going to make it safer for gamers. The more data you have online with more companies, the higher the chances your data would get leaked, innit?
