India has an energy problem, a problem of both supply and demand. Rapid industrialization and limited renewable energy options have prompted the country to explore various sources, including solar, hydrogen, and wind to name a few. However, with the deadline approaching for decarbonizing 50% by 2030, the question remains: Can India successfully navigate this energy transition?

I managed a family fund in the UK and I informed my clients to be greedy in buying the stocks in India when Raghuram Rajan joined as governor in August 2013. They are not regretting that decision now and still holding those portfolios.

Why coal is imported through Murmugao Port instead from Manglore Port which is closer to Power plants n other factories in terms of time, cost n pollution which is causing in Goa touristic destination? ?Goa, s Murmugao Port can be used to export pharmaceutical goods which are exported all the way by Trailers by road with more transport costs besides huge cruise ships avoid to dock due to coal pollution setting on surface of cruise ships n costly equipment gets damaged

160 billion every year!?!

Thats more than 1/5th the entire goverment budget. Even the defence speending is just half that. Even if all that money is spent there is a non-existent number of experinced engineers, equipment and developers available to suddenly deploy that much worth of infra.

Who in their right mind believes that is even close to feasible. No editorial oversight on this reporting.

Hmm… but dont you want to talk about the horrible roads, un bearable pollution, undrinkable water, insufficient and unsteady electricity even in the capital city. Lack of washrooms, hospitals and healthcare, the food shortages, poverty and daily disease. So no ?
