This is an unbelievably beautiful place located only 40 minutes from Azusa California, it has pristine clear water and many rock pools to swim in!!
The only problem is that there is a lot of trash all over the place, so if you decide to visit please make sure to pack it in and pack it out!! Don’t leave any trash behind, thank you.

Thank you so much for watching, most of my videos are time sensitive , that means I try to go places when there is a better chance of having the best views and experience. For example if you watch video of a seasonal waterfall and you decide to visit but when you get there it’s completely dry that’s a bummer. Same thing if I show wildflowers blooming, you visit and they are long gone! Or a place with snow, you go and it’s all melted!
Right after I go hiking I post my videos as soon as possible.
That’s why it’s very important that you subscribe and a active the notification bell so you won’t miss a thing!!

This spot will always have a special place in my heart. For a short while I was pretty much homeless sleeping in friends cars and would wake up & come down to the river in the morning. It was a rough time for me then- 18, just left an abusive household & trying to kick my drug habits. I met my best friend up & found love. That was almost 18 years ago now:)

Bless you for telling people not to litter. I cannot believe how many people treat nature with such disregard and disrespect. We should feel honor and protective of all the beauty. Too many selfish people in the world.

Because of you, me and my family and my dad went to go to this very location. We spent such a wonderful day together, creating memories. He was recently diagnosed with cancer so this one will go down in the memory book. Thank you sir

I stopped going up here because of all the dirty diapers, trash, graffiti and gang bangers who made it uncomfortable. This is a beautiful place that’s just been trashed. People put rocks across the river to form the deeper pools which due to environmental issues is illegal. Appreciate your video and telling people to keep it clean.

You have such a soft and soothing voice, very calming to listen to you. Thank you for reminding people to take their trash with them! Our Earth is amazingly beautiful, we need to keep it that way 😊

Probably one of the best edited and humble, real videos I've ever seen. Great job, thank you!

It was ALL pristine in the 70s. We called the East Fork, "Hippie Creek". We had some wonderful times there. People who hung out there were very diverse, it was an inspirational time in my life. Hopefully it is still like that. Your message is beautiful 😍. Please listen and keep it beautiful for ALL peoples to enjoy. Peace to you ALL❤😊✌️

back in 1972, after coming back from Viet Nam, I went swimming there with my cousins from West Covina. I was from South El Monte..

Thank you for making this video to help people find these beautiful, local places. And for most in the surrounding areas that cant afford to go too far away for a little getaway with your kids. Just clean up after yourselves!

In the 50s, growing up in Whittier, the San Gabriels were the "mountains". First with parents and family and later with my girlfriend and our dogs we spent countless hours on the river exploring and fishing. We hardly went to the same place twice. I caught my first trout there. Saw my first rattlesnake. Back then it was almost pristine. I have only fond memories.

We have biked on this road many times. We start at Cerritos Liberty Park and take the San Gabriel River Trail to Azusa Highway. Then we follow the East Fork to Glendora Mountain Road. Sometimes, we continue all the way to Crystal Lake. It's a long ride, almost 90 miles.
