Lavender oil makes your skin burn in the sunlight. Im not a dermatologist or anything, but gossmakeupartist highly recommends not to use any lavender oil unless at night.

Instead of lavender oil use tee tree oil, I reduces pimple size and hydrates the skin 🙂🌿

It would be better if you used some other essential oil instead of lavender. Lavender oil is phototoxic, that means it reacts with direct sunlight and it can cause photosensitivity, which is obviously the last thing you want on your face. Better not use any essential oil at all if you aren't sure if it reacts with sun. Unless you are gonna use the spray only at night.

rose water &water is the best diy makeup setting spray &plus it is great for acne prone skin& it sets your makeup wonderfully

So... maybe im just crazy/stupid, but in the setting sprays I use (for water/sweat proofing), they actually set the makeup. Meaning, if I spritz it on, wait for it to dry and touch with my finger or a q-tip, none of the product comes off. This really is important to me, because I'm a performer so I sweat a fair amount, and it rains a lot. These ones wouldn't seem to do that. At all. Is there something I could add to this mixture that would do it?

I made the aloe one and added a few things, a few drops of a corn huskers lotion, a few drops of sun screen. Works amazing, I have complication skin. Part dry and part oily.

How important is it to use distilled water? Like what difference would tap water make?

Always that I use makeup on my full face it gets cakey after a couple hours because my skin is oily. So I wanted that to last longer without any difficult thing. But thanks of this video, specially for the part of the oily skin, I feel my makeup less heavy than before, my skin feels more refreshing and it feels that it can last longer.
