It’s not supposed to look much different. Just supposed to help the health and help the continuity while emphasizing the best techniques for that hair type

Just a tip!
If cutting dark hair on video it will be helpful to use a light cape so its more clear for the viewer to see the difference after cutting sections.

I am a stay at home dad for our seventeen-year-old son, who has C3 hair. I am Caucasian (pale and Danish 😉), my wife is Kenyan (Black first-generation American), which makes our son "half/half, " but boy oh boy does he have great looking hair (when we stay on-top of things 😅)!

However, I got really sick these past three weaks, not able to keep things down (due to a break down of my abdomen, because I lost my abdominal wall from Cancer four-years-ago), and my wife (who is a HR Director) has been stuck doing late evenings and is exhausted, so I am proudly on hair duties (que the sawn of man music)!

Anyways, been watching your videos for a bit, and I will say, this one is really helpful today, so thank you so very much 😊. I just got done with the comb-out and secrioned before watching your video, now I know how to "clean-up" his ends, since it has been awhile doing his hair, so sadly we got some split ends tontake care of 😅. Thank you again, love your videos, especially this one, can't wait to show my wife the video too. Have a great day and thank you for your willingness to teach others like myself ❤

thank you for this, so refreshing to see a tutorial where the hair wasn't professionally pre-styled, "faerie-knots" and all :) this is exactly what we are dealing with IRL!

Please use white cutting capes with dark hair so we can see it clearly

I have so much curl shrinkage and breakage at the nape of my neck. I try to give extra love (and conditioner) to the nape and wear half up/half down vs ponytails but I still have so much breakage and frizz there. The disconnect between my nape level of hair and the next is about 4” (when dry). It makes it so hard to get length on my hair!
Any tips are welcome!!

I finger comb my hair, I have a wave to my hair but I don’t use a brush because I’d rather work though that knot that rip throw it with a brush.

This is so wholesome to watch. I need a cut like that. Where is your salon located?

Why not detangle the hair with a comb?
