Multiple Husbands... (Pt. 1)

Polygamy is a form of marriage, however, some women believe that it's unfair unless a wife has multiple husbands.

Handling 4 nagging husbands would be insanity. I cherish the fact I have peace and tranquillity when my husband is with his other wife.

This is so funny to me because I remember having this feeling when I first heard of polygyny. Mind you, I had NO understanding of it whatsoever. All I “knew” was that my husband would be sleeping with whomever and I couldn’t control it. (Bless my previous heart.) So all of my feelings toward polygyny came from a place of ignorance, revenge, and societal norm conditioning. Like Coach Nazir and Coach Nyla said, women want to have the option of multiple sex partners, but usually only as a result of the polygyny conversation. Typically, all we want it to be able to go to one source for all of our needs. It’s stable and it’s safe. That’s what we want. Most of us don’t want to nurture the husband we have, much less add to our duties like that. I am learning to embrace my monogamous female energy, and stop bucking against things that I need to take time to understand… don’t nobody want multiple husbands. 😒

I have enough stress and difficulties to handle one husband troubles, multiplying this will be hell on earth. One must be insane to even consider this option..

I don’t know about 4 husbands, that seems like a lot. However to say a woman who has that desire for more than 1 husband wants multiple sex partners…would it not be the same for a man? Part of having more than one wife is also a desire for multiple sex partners. I understand that is NOT the only thing but it is a part of it. I am currently learning about Islam and hoping to get to a point where I take my shahada

It's not conceivable for women to have 4 husbands! That's not even in the plans of Allah!(swt)! Whoever posed that question, I don't think they were thinking properly! That's sheer insanity! They're talking DUNYA now, not islam! May Allah guide us all! Ameen 🥀 🥀
