I was down in Bude, Cornwall over the New Year and i was very impressed with the big turn out for a young women's rugby match being played on the main rugby pitch in the town.If this represents the speed of the development of women's rugby in England then it will be very many years before other countries catch up.I hope they do for the sake of competitive sport.

I was there with my granddaughters. They loved it! Zoe Aldcroft, second row, tearing through the Ireland centre at 76 minutes, like she'd just come on the field . . . Wow! What a player!

I think Zoe Aldcroft's try was my favourite - she's bloody quick for a lock!

The only anmoying thing about this game is the timing. Playing on a Saturday when the Premiership is on doesn't really help with the crowd or the live viewing figures.

Glad our kicker got her conversions sorted out. Awesome game and roll on France. Mo Hunt is something special tho with her perception of open spaces. Hope Marlie gets to play in the WC 2025 as I see it as her swan song age looming.
