As a Christian:
1. First of all, do NOT use the water analogy it’s a heresy named modalism. If you believe that the trinity is like the water then The Father/Holy Spirit died on a cross and it’s not good because it’s only the Son who died on a cross.
2. Jesus is fully divine and fully human (Colossians 2:9) so if he said things like "The Father is greater than 1" its due to his human nature because as humans, we’re in the obligation to worship and humble ourselves to The Father. There’s also time where Jesus has shown to be God (John 10:30, John 14, 9) and he even did things that are impossible for humans to do such as predicting the future (predicted Peter’s 3 denials)
