EXTREME LANDING!! silkway Boeing 747 terrifying HARD Landing at Amsterdam airport schiphol (HD)

so this 747 of silkway made an very hard landing due to windshear which caused the aircraft to suddently dive down. the aircraft came down with a big hit. the airplane almost crashed and if it came down a little earlier it had crashed in front of the runway. this was not the fault of the pilot but it was the fault of the very strong winds that were blowing that day!

After an hour of looking for hard landings, this is probably the hardest I’ve seen! I’m surprised the tyres survived that, the flaps on the left side shook incredibly hard too. I wonder what maintenance was required after that!

actually what i heard (talked to capt.who took next flight at very same 747-8) it was wrong trim setting by pic who had yoke full aft. Plane took off next day i think...

To say it's not the fault of the pilot is being extremely generous. It's the pilot's responsibility to properly aviate and manage the wind conditions. Some mistakes/poor decisions were made by the PIC. Every pilot eventually has a bad day. This guy had one.
