love my 390. it's given me that sense of adventure I haven't felt since I was a kid.

Couldn't agree more, no stress riding this bike like the large Adv bikes. I absolutley love mine. I have ridden it hard and taken it places I would never take a big bike. With a few modifications this is a little ripper.

Rode the Continental divide from start to finish this year on mine, didn’t need a stinking R model . Much rather plug a tire and go then break one down, and the 1000 mile ride home was a pleasure, ride it for what it was made for and there is none better. I am so over heavy motorcycles, I went from a BMW F800gs to 390 ADV and I never say I wish I had a heavier motorcycle.

What I can't understand is why not a 390 Adventure R version. I'm hoping that the new 490 has this more off-road bike with R version.

Thank you KTM, many many thanks for making the 2022 model in black, with limited orange. I had commented a year ago, on another youtubers channel, that I wanted that exact set up. Fixing the electronics issue was just a bonus.
Imagine my surprise/delight when I saw the new color schemes.
I am in the Philippine market and hope the 2022's will be available when I return home in March.

You should definitely add a 390 Enduro and 390 Smcr to the line up. People love your sumos so a smaller and cheaper supermoto would sell like warm bread. Also if you made a 390 dual sport it would completely wipe the floor with hondas CRF 300L, Kawas KLX 300 and even with Yamahas WR 250 R.
