I loved hearing you talk about the books that motivate you, especially to think about finances. I worked for so long at a firm and felt so torn between my culture that tells me to be humble, not discuss money and just work my tush off and someone will pay me...while working among all these people from different cultures who ask for what they want and get it. I realized that ultimately I was giving up my power, and that’s not right. Women and POC and 1st generation US kids (and so many others!) need the financial language to become second nature so that we can truly make our voices heard. Thanks for being brave, but still keeping it you🙏💙

I agree I think people in general should talk more about personal finance. Congratulations on the upload streak AND the sponsorships. You often introduce us to brands we might never find on our own. Small businesses, minority or women owned etc. You have a very thoughtful approach that we appreciate. I think that people underestimate what it costs (in America) financially to take of: yourself vs you and a pet vs a couple vs a couple with a pet not to mention adding in a parent, grandparent or extended family into who you support. Can't wait to see the next video. Stay safe.

I discovered MAKE Beauty through your channel and it’s become one of my favorite brands, so I’m excited for their re-launch. I love the original universal stick but I would love to try Maddie’s collaboration color if it becomes available again.

I also love Cook’s Illustrated magazine. It’s pretty much the only magazine I read because every other page isn’t an advertisement and I learn so much from other people who are just as passionate about food as I am and it’s really inspiring! I especially enjoy the issue about making homemade hummus. Their approach is so straightforward but fun. I love it!

And as far as sponsored content goes, I think the most important thing is disclosing that it’s an Ad, which I’ve found you always do and I think that says a lot about you as a person. I don’t know you but I find you to be very genuine and kind person, which I think is rare these days. In both influencers and just regular people.
