We need to install the mysql server on our docker to be able to use mysql from our spring boot app. The video below demostrates how to install the mysql server on our docker and connect it to our spring boot application.

If you are not using a database, you will not get the error which is seen in the end of the video. We will install the mysql server in our docker environment and connect it to our spring boot application in the next video. link given below.
