Another honest review, thanks Matt. Acer has always put out budget friendly devices, I've had a few, and it's been apparent in the fit and finish. As you said, they need to lower the price on this laptop to be competitive.

The good thing about these new Intel chips is it gives consumers more options come on sale days. We all know price drops happen on amd and Intel throughout the year so now we can at least consider intel again depending on the reduction

This laptop now comes with an OLED screen, which was your biggest complaint - I rarely used y touchscreens. Also comes with 1 TB HD. Swift Go 14 SFG14-72-72YK. I also use a USB docking station to a real mouse, real webcam, real Jabra Speaker. You can swap out to WiFi 7 when available. This is one of the better laptops on the market in Q1 2024.

1. Zenbook 14X (i7-13700H) for $700
2. G14 (7735HS) for $900
3. Slim Pro 7 X (6800HS-CE) for $800

If not any of these which one would you suggest to be the best buy under $900.

Hey Matt, thanks for the review. I think acer lacks of design details on their devices. The only outstanding device I can think of is the acer aspire vero line ... I hope you'll review the 16 inch one soon! :)

idk why but i feel like recently acer always seems strange with their pricing, they're constantly more expensive while having less feature and looks/feels cheap

You kept saying "RX 7800M", I think you meant "Radeon 780M". The integrated stuff for AMD doesn't use the "RX" moniker.

It feels like this laptop makes just too many compromises. It doesn't have a good touchpad, screen, processing power, fit/finish, etc. What does this laptop have that is good?

I know I'm 9 months late to the video; surely I'm not the first to raise an eyebrow at 0:55 when he says Meteor Lake multithreaded performance is on par with Ryzen 7000/8000 while displaying a chart where the AMD chip is over 40% better? 😊
