Hi there Mrs Karen! I just wanted to let you and your Stephanie know, that you made me and my children so happy with making these Christmas crunchy turtles! My little 6-year-old boy and my 9-year-old daughter had a blast pressing the pecans into the Rolos on the pretzels! Thank you for making such a sweet video and for your lovely Christmas candy recipe! I have been watching you the last few months and you are like a great second mama to me! May God bless you all during this Christmas season and thank you for your kind cooking videos! They make my heart so warm!

We have single neighbor who has no family here.
Each week, my daughter cooks and shares food with him. He loves to eat and we love cooking and sharing.

The turtles look so good & easy. We make the Ritz crackers. When we dip them we hold them in our finger tips& dip to our finger tip. Just a little cracker to hold on to. So easy that way. Thanks ladies.

Karen I make the Ritz peanut butter dipped and my son loves them. I also melt chocolate, add a few drops on mint extract and dip the Ritz, it reminds us of the Girl Scout mint cookies really good!

Love these recipes! Thanks ladies! I use mint chocolate on my ritz. No PB just one ritz and make thin mints. Yum!!!

Love this recipe; I hope you can make them. Love from the Land of OZ here in Kansas:
Thin Mint Cookies
These very easy to make cookies that do not need to be baked!
They taste just like (or better) than the girl scout version Thin Mints.
Ingredients

Dark Chocolate (I use the Milk Chocolate)
Peppermint oil
Ritz Crackers
Parchment paper

Preparation

Melt chocolate in a bowl microwave for 1 min, stirring to melt.
Then stir in 3-4 drops of peppermint oil and stir well. (I use a little more)
Drop one cracker at a time into melted chocolate, making sure all sides are coated.
Use a dipping fork to remove, tap off excess chocolate and place on parchment paper to cool.

Sprinkle fun shapes over the tops. (I use sprinkles) Store at room temp.
(I put them on a cookie sheet to freeze for few minutes than place in a air tight container)
ENJOY!!!

I just had to laugh at the opening, what with all the snow! We don't have that much snow even in northern Wisconsin! I know you don't have all the Winter White going on down south. Had to share this one! Sunbutter (from sunflowers) is a great substitute for peanut butter for folk with allergies. Makes great cookies.

I think crushed Butterfinger would be great on top of the Ritz and chocolate

I can’t try these this weekend because I’m baking 16 loaves of amish bread but I will get the stuff and make them the weekend of the 10th. That’s my candy making weekend so I can definitely fit these recipes into that schedule then cookies on the 17th-18th. These will make great gifts. Thank you . I love watching you with your daughter in law…. I’ve been blessed by a great one too…. She doesn’t cook 😃. But she loves my treats. Good to see you both.Love you bunches. ❤One quick easy recipe if you like orange… get some orange slices and totally dip them in milk chocolate. So so good.
