Rolo pretzel turtles: delicious and easy to make!

INGREDIENTS
250g (2 cups) pecan nuts, peeled, raw
10ml (1 tsp) olive oil
30ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup
a pinch of salt
40 pretzels
40 chocolate caramel candies

METHOD
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.
2. Start with roasting pecans. Combine nuts with olive oil, syrup, and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Spread the nuts on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, mixing halfway through.
3. Place pretzels on top of a parchment-covered baking sheet. Top each pretzel with caramel candy. Place into the oven for 3-5 minutes or until the chocolates start to soften, but are not melted all the way through.
4. Remove pretzels from the oven and press pecan slices into each chocolate carefully. Let set and serve.
