i wrote a suicide note in grade 5, and some birdy told the teacher about it, and she caught me at the school gate and went "hey, are you okay?" that teacher saved my life, impacted my life. i wouldnt be here today without her. her name is mrs lange, and she is the single greatest teacher i have ever had. she showed enthusiasm every single day, and most importantly saved my life. you too can save lives. you too can be a mrs lange.

My teacher came to school one day even though her daughter had just died😭. We all ended up hugging her and she said we were like her 2nd children. We decided to make a huge card for her and she cried and we all ended up crying.😢 That was one of the most memorable days of my life. Teachers are truly amazing and it’s impossible to express that enough. 💕

I'm crying listening to this because i just recently failed my physics exam .it's hurting so bad as i want to pursue my career in the field of astronomy and I've also disappointed those who trust me ..this made me self doubt my whole choices.. but my heart doesn't want to give up i can't . I used to be bullied in middle school a bunch of jerks made fun of me and my friend. Until one day I became the bully and started bullying a kid who was def and in that moment, I knew I was hanging out with the wrong kids. But I was so angry at them and how they made me suffer and letting my anger out on other kids made me feel really stupid until I realized I needed knew friends. And to this day I'm no longer a bully I hang out with christian guys who go to church and so do I it really changed my life.

I'm watching this video because I felt so tired and empty, and my grades aren't good. I always depend on my parents, and I always ask my sister to help me with my studies. But I really do want to be independent, and I want to love and make my parents proud of me for once. This time I'm going to do my all so I can audition to be a K-pop Idol like what my child-self would want. She was a big dreamer, and I'll practice and work hard for my dreams. No matter what happens, I'm going to believe in myself and God. I won't give up; I'll turn my passion into actions, and I'll spread love. Future me, if you read this again, I promise you'll make it. It just takes time, more than others.

I love that my college professor added this video as extra credit. 2 days ago I turned 37. 15 years ago I was homeless on the streets, addicted to the needle. I lost my sister, my father, and my best friend in short succession. I didn't struggle with grades, I struggled with understanding my life has value and worth from a very young age. I dropped out of highschool with a 4.2 GPA. I didn't have the guidance and encouragement I needed as a teen. I had back surgery at 24 that led to a 200lb weight gain. I could only see myself as an obese drug addict with failed potential. Then I decided to get clean and I wasn't going to use no matter what happen. I got clean, I met an amazing man, got married, gave birth to 4 girls in 2 years. I now had others looking at me to be their role model. I lost 145lbs the old school way (nutrition and gym). I finished the 2 classes I needed for my high school diploma at 35 years old. I have 4 weeks of my freshman year left, and although I'm 37, it feels amazing. We are not a sum of our failures, but how we choose to overcome them.

I am a teen. I am overweight, and my father is... just not good. I don't mean like 'Oh my parents are mean lol' I mean there is something seriously wrong with him. I never cry, no matter what happens, I get in trouble get bitten by father get fails and gets bullied bit I never cried in a long time, I thought that I am just wired and a burden to other people, but this was so heart warming that I actually cried, I actually thought I am good for one 😭😭
