Your plate carrier set up is user dependent. Set up what you think you'll need, then test it. Your kit, like your shooting style, should always evolve.

A vest that accepts placards, is a really good option. Simply because you can have multiple placards to swap between, based on the situation.

One thing everyone is skipping over, his plate carrier is not even ADJUSTED correctly for him.
You should have the top of the front plate at about the level of your collar bone and the back plate is way too low and need to be at the top of shoulder blade height.
You get hit in your collar bone region, you can bleed out really fast, just saying.
It's good to have body armor, it's better to wear it correctly and have it save your life.

Tip for everyone. You should never intend for any of your own personal property to ever be used for active shooter response. Responding to an active shooter rarely helps and puts more ppl at risk, from yourself to bystanders or police officers. It is your job to defend yourself it is the police's job to defend the community. A good guy with a gun only stops a bad guy with a gun 5% of the time and a lot of the time good guys with guns die trying to be heroes. Let the damn police do their jobs.

You should have both on hand and ready if you have the means!! Im not trying to steal your shine but the only difference is in home may have less stuff equipment, where as active shooter will have more equipment, able to sustain you for a longer period of time. But as I stated they should both be on hand, ready, and easy to get to. Thanks for the video keep grinding sir 🤟🏾🫡

The back panel sounds cool and all until you realize that you can’t get anything out of it without taking the whole thing off unless you are rolling with a team. HRT makes a great carrier but for a more practical civilian use plate carrier something slick makes a lot more sense. And a backpack for extra gear if needed that way you can access your stuff without asking a buddy to help you.
