Just a suggestion Hickok45, I live in the woods too and clean spouts often. I put a piece of down spout with an elbow on the end of the leaf blower and walk along the ground cleaning spouts just fine as frogs hair. Plus metal roofs are slippery! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania p.s. BE CAREFUL UP THERE! But it is a great view of your range!

If that was my place the sun wouldn't set on another day without the rain gutters hitting the scrap metal pile. Lived in my house since 1993. Never had gutters, never gonna have gutters.

Reminds me of Max McGee, the retired Packers receiver. He was 75 years old when he decided to clear leaves from his roof. He fell. He died. End of story.

This is life in middle TN. I cannot tell you all how many times I've been performing some routine chore - blowing leaves, trying to start my Hodaka Road Toad, gathering eggs when a whole platoon of NVA regulars would attack. One time it was North Koreans infiltrating through the north pasture. It got so bad my parents took away my rifle and quit letting me go outside.

Be careful up there! It would be hard to shoot with a broken arm or worse injuries. Just remember we don’t heal as fast as we used to.
