Death Stranding PC Review - The Final Verdict

Last year’s PlayStation 4 console exclusive, Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding, has finally made its way to the PC. Although the general gameplay mechanics have remained intact from the PlayStation 4 version, there is a lot here that will appeal to PC gamers. This review will be largely similar to our original PS4 review but we have added our impressions about the various graphical settings and performance of the PC version. So, let’s get started.

40 Hours in so far and i just started chapter 6, you easily lose track of time trying to rebuild all the roads and boost connection level with everyone while finding new and creative ways to traverse the envirement and lay down a new path for fellow porters to follow. and the story keeps getting more and more interesting to keep me hooked and wanting to keep on playing

I too am enjoying this game very much. Slow-burn narratives like the one presented in DS are my cup of tea.

I like reading the positive comments good to see people form their own opinions and finding something enjoy that many have downplayed as a waste of time.

The game is well optimized and it looks awesome but the anti aliasing(TAA) is broken it doesn't work and that effect the image quality, you'll see a lot of aliasing if you're running the game at 1080p or 1440p specially on building and foliage.

Watch PythonSelkan's video's, Death Stranding may very well be linked to the Metal Gear Universe. Kojima has been playing tricks on his fans going back to Raiden in MGS2. As he plays tricks on his fans they have become increasing more elaborate and some suspect his firing could also be apart of it. DS has alot in common with MGS, won't spoil it but its so loaded with links its impossible to ignore. Metal Gear Solid lore has many Meta lore aspects to it and Zone of Enders might be the secret future, where the AI and Metal Gears lead towards, Death Stranding could be the middle point.

Some people call this game trash but that’s because they don’t like this style of game. Personally I love this game it’s like an amazing book but you get to play it’s awesome. But I do respect there opinion as not everyone likes every game.

THIS GAME IS MADE FOR GROWN UPS! I’ve played over 150 hours and I WAS SO GLAD I DIDN’T LISTEN TO CRYBABIES REVIEWS, it made me laugh, sad, confused and scared and mad, it had original story and gameplay and music, it’s about reaching out and making connecting with other people, it was detailed and there was so many things you could constantly discover it gets better and better as I’ve played (around 20 hours for me) its not just walking simulator, you could build road and drive and there’s other ways to travel..long story short IT WAS THE BEST GAME IVE EVER PLAYED!!!

Playing on pc here, pretty relaxing to play around. 30 hours in and on chapter 3. Game is slow and enjoyable if that's your thing. it's really an adventure exploring game rather than action. Yes, there is action but is rare. The game is eye candy at max res and you can fuck around with npcs if you get bored lol.

60 dollars is quite the commitment though.
The game looks great and It's my kind of slow-burn playstyle.

But that AAA price is rough.
if i could get it for 40.00, i'd buy it within the hour.

What bothers me is that everyone talks about graphics but not about the controls... How does the M&KB work in Death Stranding?
Is it good or is it one of those games where you HAVE TO use controller cause M&KB are completely unplayable?

And multiplayer. Can I play with just my friends or is it all or nothing?
