I love these interviews because so many DS performers seem like they kinda went in thinking the same, not realizing how invovled the whole thing would be. Norman said yes without hesitation cause Guillermo Del Toro told him to, but I don't think he realized either how heavy of a lift the whole project was going to be, that Hideo loves movies and approaches his games in such a cinematic way. It's so cool to see them EXCITED about it being more than they expected.

The problem is there’s potentially two Lous. There’s sams original child with his wife who both died. Then there’s BB-28. Now the problem and weird question is, did BB-28 get replaced by Lou’s soul or Ka? Cause in the beginning of DS 1 Sam and BB die in the first void out and you see BB become a BT/crawl into the ocean. But then…..is she repatriated as the BB? Or did Amelie bring back Lou? It’s supposed to be Lou supposedly because it facilitated a connection between sam and the baby (since it’s his original kids soul) and would help him through the process of reconnecting the world for Amelie. But then what the hell happened to BB? Is that baby just gone? Why does sam ask if Higgs killed Lou, cause which Lou? Current BB-28-Lou? Or the actual Lou from before, we never heard how his family died exactly. This is gonna be a super interesting game.

I think people saying they're not into video games is wild. Its like saying nah i dont fuck with books, music, or films. It makes you sound hella ignornant like oh this entire medium of entertainment isnt for me. I thi k its mostly because videogames are so new comparatively that people still kind of look at it through this juvenile lense. Anyway, im looking forward to the game.
