The fact that he is so cheap and a lot of lizard have haste and get those early game drops is kinda perfect for aggro/burn which is a strange build but it’s such high damage output it’s almost the perfect commander for this build IMO

Mirkwood bats, treasure tokens, impact tremors and raid bombardment could amp it up a little

Made a high power deck, that takes advantage of persist using it for burn and mill so many low cmc cards that will make this a scary commander.

During Thunder Junction, I decided to build a Rakdos commander deck, mainly because I liked Laughing Jasper Flint (because one of my favorite things to do in MtG is playing with my opponent's card.) When I saw Gev, I was like cool, I will get one and add him to the 99 of Laughing Jasper Flint.

The other day, I was rereading some of the carda spoiled & really broke down what Gev is capable of as the commander of a deck (Mainly being a combo deck with Persist creatures.)

Anyways, I have a question - Do you think I should just keep Laughing Jasper Flint & the Outlaws as a deck and just slot Gev into the 99 or, Build a Gev deck, removing some of the outlaw synergies to add the sacrifice outlets & persist creatures?
