The players will never come out and criticize the coach. It means nothing to me and won’t change my opinion.

How about we let Trey develop his throwing and let him make magic happen with his legs? Trey has really solid pocket awareness and has shown he can escape.

Calling a play that options Trey to run up the gut in that moment was aggro as hell. RISK/REWARD.

The Kyle press tour isn’t fooling anyone. I’m a math guy as well and here’s some numbers for you. Trey was avg’ing less yds per carry then Wilson andTDP at that point in the game. We were avg over 6 yds per carry. It was 2nd & 8 and we were moving the ball. Why run him? He got hurt in AZ game last season. Run power is completely different then hitting the edges. Hitting the outside gives you the sideline, option to slide and throw. Kyle can be a genius. Doesn’t mean he’s immune to mistakes. Can’t develop a QB if you’re making him run.

Then Jimmy needs to run up the middle too to keep the defense honest.

Juice is wrong. LB’s are more squared ready to pummel as opposed to getting an on the edge tackle

As a Niner fan I have not lost faith. All fans I know have not lost faith. ❤ and prayers Trey. Come back and be great. Let’s go Jimmy G! Let’s go Niners!

Jimmy G. has a rushing average of 1.3 yards per attempt and the fullback says that the quarterback runs were a strength of the team. You don't have to run your quarterback if the defense is worried about his passing game.

Yes let's run the QB to set up the play action not the Rbs....great excuse

Defenses hate to chase a Qb. they Love to see a QB come to them.

Thank you GOOD KYLE for an actual explanation. I honestly feel less angry about the situation. That was an awesome interview.

The NFL has changed the rules several times in recent years to protect qbs from HITS. As a result, you can barely touch a qb without a penalty. EVERYONE knows that you dont want your qb to take any hits if possible. But Kyle thinks its a great idea to run Trey into the teeth of the defense ensuring hes gonna get hit. Ya, this guy is a genius!

Was Trey Lance so coveted in the draft that Kyle had to give up 3 1st rounders & a 3rd to get him 🤔

I'd think it's more like Russian Roulette: Sure, that first trigger pull is a 50% chance, but if you keep going back to pull that trigger, it's just a matter of time before the gun goes off. And for what? 4 yards on a 2nd down in the 2nd Quarter at the beginning of the season?

Damn Bruce is responsible for the fan base "not trusting Kyle Shanahan". Shut up Damn. Just stop it.

he know the numbers on getting brain damage as a fullback

I still don't think they should have run Trey so much inside...it's easier to slide when you're running outside...I went to Harvard also so coming from Harvard doesn't mean you're right...although I do respect his talent and having gone to Harvard is a plus...

You actually think a player or players of the team is going throw his/their HC under the bus even in his heart he know his HC is a fault for getting the team franchise QB hurt?
