I like how you took it slow, explained every step very well, and didn’t skip anything. The video always showed what you were talking about well. Probably the best “how to” video I’ve seen.

I never understood how the plunger can go all the way back up even though the cartridge is full. Unlike a caulk gun.

I bought your green gun thats featured in the video. Unfortunately ive misplaced the instruction sheet, as the gun laid for a few month before the first use. So this video was very helpful in helping reprime the gun, as i didnt know what the technique was when the gun stops pumping and i have more than half a tube left!

Very great gun and makes relubing the driveshaft very easy. Remember people if you have a Toyota/Lexus body on frame vehicle you gotta grease the drive shafts and u-joints every 15k miles!

Honestly thank you for a understandable explanation and no annoying sponsorship blab before the beginning of the video like in other channels

Good video. I have been using grease guns for 50 plus years. To save time I always put pressure on the follower plate when reloading the gun. It is the quickest way.

Not a lot of new information here, I've been using grease guns for for almost sixty years, but there was some new tricks that made watching worthwhile. Thank you for such an informative, relevant presentation.

Good video thanks. One common problem I've found with cartridge grease guns is getting the follower plate to start into the end of a new cardboard tube.
The solution that I found was to notch the follower rod about 1/4" longer than the factory notch. This causes the new cartridge to hit the follower plate a quarter inch before fully seating.
You then remove the tin pull-tab plate, and rotate the new cardboard tube while pushing it into place using your fingers. This method insures that the follower plate has entered the new tube before you install the pump head, and removes much of the air from being trapped at the pump end. (Just swipe off the excess grease before installing the pump head.)

Thank you for explaining the follower plate. I kept trying to figure out what the "drop" was in the t-handle which I thought dropped into, and not away from, the cylinder. Also didn't know if when priming, to pump the handle while pressing the release valve, and if to do this while the cylinder is still a few turns loosened or not. ALso, I think I understand a bit more about locking the t-handle onto the following plate and if I released properly before using, or is I ever really locked onto it at all.

what is causing the grease to come out along the rod when you pull it back out, sometimes there is more than half a tube of grease on on the wrong side of the washer, mixed with the spring, you think that gun is empty, as it doesn, t pump anymore, anoying
