What was the plugin you (allegedly) cracked first? NO JUDGEMENT. 😂

you have so many possibilities creating anything with free plugins, even with stock plugins. No need to spend that extra money, especially as a newbie. Thx for that vid!

Don't forget to support the plugin developers if you start using the plugins on a regular basis

I've stood by vital since it's first versions, I can't imagine what I'd sound like now if I had it a decade ago.

Even if sound design isn't your wheelhouse: just grab vital, it's too damn versatile.

I can't believe slate digital fresh air is free.
Also the free kilohearts transient shaper has the extra pump function.

Great video brother. I will definitely check out these plugins. My favourite free plug-in is probably Vital. Amazing synth!!!

This was a great video! Another plugin that could be good to help replicate the rc-20 that I've found is Cymatics Origin. It's a lofi plugin that can filter, modulate, saturate, and add vinyl sounds to your track. By far one of my most used plugins for lofi.

there are so many fantastic free plugins recently,
just to name a few "new" ones (except well-known TDR, Klanghelm, Analog Obsession, Valhalla, Auburn Sounds, Melda, YouLean...) there's Polyverse Wider, Acon Digital Verberate Basic, Bertom Denoiser Classic, Soundly Place it, Goyo Voice Separator - all worth checking out :)

Torrenting plugins... wow, this brings back the old days when I got started with FL Studio and torrented popular VSTs to understand how music production works.

13 years later, on and off, I don't wanna know how much money I've wasted on legal VSTs - Ableton 10 Suite, Arturia VCollection, Serum, tons of packs, etc. It's an OK thing to do in the beginning because it's pointless to pump in thousands of dollars/euros/pounds if you don't even know if it's a thing for you.

But the more you develop and actually continue producing music in years forward, supporting VST devs is something that will only bring lead devs to create more enhanced plugins and, therefore, more opportunities for producers.

Good video!

RC-20 I grabbed that one on sale, I try not to use it too often, but it is very well made. For me the saturation algorithms usually sound good and they are quite hassle free to use, also Space is a reverb that I use when I gave up on the more "complicated" reverb plugins, and that also delivers, even if I just one to make the drum room mics wetter. I really recommend waiting for the sale there, it's really a great plugin and saves a lot of time (especially if you have ADHD where too many options would just kill your motivation).

Thanks so much, one of the best free plugin videos I've seen on YouTube, the explanations on how to actually use the plugins were golden. You're a treasure.

I've started using the Analog Obsession pre-box on the whole track just to add warmth. Love it.
