Noisy Topwater Lure Test

Trying out a new topwater lure here in my buddy's pond. I tried the Jackall Pompadour last year and liked the actions but didn't get many bites because it was a little too big for most lakes. The new Pompadour Jr. is a much better size for bass fishing. A start and stop retrieve does well like most other topwater baits. The noise is crazy! I could list to a bass hitting the bait all day long! I think it swims like michael phelps, but buddy says, who's that? LOL

Awesome video. Viewers should understand that he's demonstrating lures, and not fishing how one would approach making an afternoon of this little pond. A small pond like this would mean that casting across the water with loud and obnoxious lures would be the "we're about ready to leave for the day" maneuver, after you've worked through the near, mid, and far sections quietly so that you don't drag a flopping bass through potential target points, diminishing your yield.

Wow! That is a puddle. I fish a small place down on Cape Cod and I'm always amazed at how many bass are in it, but your spot makes my spot look like a great lake. Haha.
