This is really controversial but top water frogs. They are expensive, hard to set the hook on, and you need to walk them which is just annoying in my opinion

We make our shaky heads and use them in big creeks and they work great, but not so much lakes

I can't really use top water lures because I don't really find spots with fish willing to bite them and I don't have strong enough line

I agree with u. I don’t have much luck with really big worms. Also every time I use a big deep diving crankbait I always catch a rock bass the size of the lure
