Dabol deserves a lot of credit for what he did with Jones and before that Allen. At least it seems like hes good at developing QBs

to everyone saying this was against the worst defense, daniel jones has been playing at a mostly mistake free level for the majority of the year. he also played great a couple weeks ago against a not as bad colts defense. if you watch the film after every game like i do you will see he is not nearly as bad as people make him out to be. he may not be elite or even the long term answer, but he sure as hell isn’t a problem. id even say besides left tackle, hes the least of my worries with the giants offense in terms of weak links. he’s doing everything they ask him to. the only knock i have on his game is that about once or twice a game he won’t pull the trigger on an open receiver but i like to think that with more time with the coaching in new york, that habit (definitely developed from the years of god awful coaching from garrett n judge) will slowly be fixed

Great analysis. There is a lot more to the NFL than what you see just watching the game. There are a lot of games won or lost in the film rooms (although the palyers need to have the talent to execute the play). BTW, Daniel Jones is no dummy. He was going to go to Princeton, before he ended up as a walk-on at Duke.

Only 5 int in 17 games. He didnt have deep threat, he didnt have good TE. Red zone plays drawn for Saquon. He could easily have more than 20 td pass. I believe in DJ.

I have another thing to say about 5:00. You see how Jones originally looks like he attempts to run for a gain. The person who appears to be Kendricks is getting away from Hodgins because he is convinced that jones will take off, and proceeds to run towards him. Once this happens, Jones tries to get Hodgins to run towards the outside when Kendricks has completely lost his attention to him. Great Job manipulating the defense to create a big play.

Jones made some huge steps this year with a lot of that credit going to Daboll but Jones really did everything he had to do in this game. Not an insane game by any means but this is something we haven't seen from him.

Every single qb that played the vikings had a great day, with the exception of maybe 2 games. The defense was absolutely horrible and anyone not named Nathan peterman could go off against this defense.
