Thanks Nolan! I love the tip about draping the wire over the shoulder and down the back to take the pressure off the mic!

I’m using a Sennheiser wireless lav mic feeding into an old Zoom H4n recorder. I had the equipment from my years as an audio engineer. I definitely recommend both the Sennheiser and Zoom brands for their high-quality sound and durability.

Thanks. You guys are the best for what you do. I have learned so much about equipment and setting up studio environments from you guys. Your YouTube channel is the 1st place that I go to for advice on these type of things. I really appreciate all your help. Keep up the good work!

The best thing about Lavalier mic's is they are SO affordable. I have a Rode VideoMic and it costs about $180 brand new so having a product, like what Nolan is showing, gives you an affordable and effective way to get high quality audio!

I tried the diety but I couldn't deal with the cord, so I went cordless. I have Movo WMX-1 2.4GHz Wireless Lavalier Microphone. I love the loop method tho! That will come in handy later.

Great video. I've tested out a lot of different lav mics and the one you are using sounds better than all the ones I've tried haha

Great tips! Is clapping to slate the video really necessary these days? Sync clips via audio always works for me.

This is great, I use a lav when I’m outside so it goes under my top layer. Hides easy! Great video Nolan. I just hit my 100th sub woohoo. Good luck to everyone on the journey!

Thanks, Nolan. I normally use a Rode shotgun mic, but have been trying out my Boya lavalier. Just moved into a new studio that has a lot of echo and the lavalier does much better at the moment. Hopefully some sound boards will dampen that echo. Thanks again!

Thanks for the info. I'm using a Rode wireless Go 2. This video honestly helped fix the issue I was having with where to place my mic. I couldn't decide for the life of me where exactly to put that thing while wearing a t-shirt. I know this is rudimentary for many but I was honestly not getting the results I got from 2 small tweaks I got from this video. Thank you very much!!
