It was so nice to hear you talk about your daughter, as a Dad of a 5 year old myself I can relate. We dad's just can't stop talking about our kids once we start 😂. Happy Father's Day to you.

black and white does seem to see more than colour mode, you can disable the smearing by turning off the 3d dynamic noise reduction (3dnr or 3ddnr)

Great review, Nick! IMO, there's no need to pay more than the $14.90 this camera costs. People seem to compare FPV cameras like I was comparing DSLR lenses, when I was in the market for them. But! That's not what these are used for and I think we need to keep that at the forefront of our decision making. We need a clear FPV camera to fly with. Nothing more! So, to me, this camera gives well saturated color, the tint seems spot on, and it does exceptionally well in light transitions. When you showed the red truck.. It's not glowing red, it's natural. Now check out the trees, the house, the shadows, and especially the sky and clouds. They're all exposed near perfect! Anywhere you try to look in any frame, it all looks really good all the time! And, don't forget, unlike any of the other nano cameras under $20, this comes with the board to adjust anything you think it needs... Full menu! And, very important to me, mounting holes so I just pop it in my quad in a couple of minutes! With this all around image quality and features this camera is the Best for Lest... 👍😳🙄

Lime green? I had a hd caddx and crash cracked a circular glass lens between sensor and lens and appeared like green when removed. I had to replace the entire lens because I couldn’t find that tiny piece of glass.

Nice camera. I'm glad they have the connection for adjusting settings. I have to turn the sharpness down on these types of cameras to get rid of the shimmer. It's too distracting to me when flying. That along with the light weight makes this a real contender for my whoops and micros.

Do you happen to know the measurements from the mounting holes to the tip of the lens?

Looks like turning down the sharpness setting would be helpful on this one like a lot of the caddx cameras. Not bad for the price, and the weight is good though.

How does this compare to Foxeer pico? This seems to be better, as I rmbr the Foxeer pico seems to have some fish eye distortion. Btw thanks for the review good one.

Great looking camera for a toothpick type build. Maybe turn down the sharpness a little. Looks way better than the RunCam Nano 3.

Please compare the ant against the EOS2, THANKS.

Be careful guys, the 16:9 version is super fisheye IMO! Picked one up for the Mobulite, larva-x canopy and ant only 2g added! Not much affected in terms of flight, a little less nimble, but the FOV is ridiculous for a whoop. Saving it for a 1s toothpick now, but when the 4:3s are back in stock load up!

Not bad for such a light camera but the sort of screen door aliasing is kind of off-putting. Thanks for the review!

Pretty sure this became my default light budget nano cam. Maybe not quite enough to replace my nano 2s, but I think I'd replace all of my eos2 with this. Looks slightly better than the nano razer at a lighter weight imo.

I'd be interested to see how this compares to the caddx ratel

Ant looks good for that nano-style mount with pico-like weight. I like to fly at night (summers are so hot in California). The Baby Ratel Starlight does well in parking lots or up and down a dimly lit street, but still needs a little ambient light, I need a camera that can fly in complete darkness, like a field with ONLY moonlight. Maybe that's too much to ask... What do you think is the best low light handling, but still ultralight nano camera? Lighter than baby ratel, but not quite as good low light.

I just oredered mine on RDQ last night. I am using it to save weight for insta 360 go. Keeping everything below 250 grams here.

It's not great at night, but it's better than the nano3. Those lines are annoying but it's liveable. For micros (65mm) there isn't really much available for flying at night. My only complaint is that it seems stretched vertically.
