Let's be fair, TB was the basement of the League back in Young's early career. They were perennially awful on all three sides of the ball (largely because they were a warm-weather franchise whose then-divisional* opponents which they had to play twice a season each were all cold-weather northern franchises that they had to travel halfway across the country for all of those road games) and excelled at not protecting their quarterbacks, and their defenses laughably sucked, often forcing their QBs into playing desperate late games, thereby creating situations for those QBs where they'd have a greater statistical likelihood of throwing an INT/pick-6 or a tipped pass or fumbling the ball

Fun Fact, Steve Young was the starting QB vs the Packers in the Snow Bowl, a game played in a blizzard and is the lowest attended game in Lambeau History, it happened in 1985 and less than 20k people made it to the game.
