Drafted with the 1st pick in the 1997 NBA Draft, Tim Duncan would join future Hall of Famer, David Robinson in San Antonio, establishing one of the greatest frontcourts in league history.

Duncan would dominate in his Rookie Year, averaging 21 and 12 alongside 2.5 blocks per game while winning Rookie of the Year and being named to the All-NBA and All-Defensive teams.

Duncan further his dominance during the early 2000s, averaging 23 and 12 while winning back-to-back MVPs in ‘02 and ‘03. Behind his leadership, the Spurs would take home titles in 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014, while establishing themselves as the franchise with the highest winning percentage in league history.

Duncan would retire on July 11, 2016, following a disappointing loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the previous playoffs.

In his career, the Big Fundamental maintained per-game averages of 19.0 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3. 0 assists.
