Turned out to be the right decision since because he stayed in college, he got drafted to the Spurs, an organization that's already contender. Although, he would've been a HoFer regardless of where he was drafted, if he left early he would've had his prime wasted on a bad team like KG's and as a result not have 5 rings

that’s completely correct very sad on how his mother died. But this reminds me of J.R smith going back to collage after he retired from the nba. (Anyone else agree)

That just makes me wonder, would Tim Duncan have been picked first over Chris Webber and Penny Hardaway?
