Wrong Side Driver Shown Instant Karma By Pune Police

Wrong side cab driver gets penalized by Pune Traffic Police which was caught on dashcam video. The cab driver driving on the wrong side got down to argue with the dashcam driver but the police was there to help. Police arrived within two minutes of this incident and clicked pictures to later issue a traffic penalty for wrong side driving. Incidents of wrong side driving is very common but at the same time it has ben highlighted widely for a recent crash where a biker hit the Mahindra SUV in Gurugram

Enough punishment is not applied to the wrongful driver. Punishment and law is very weak in India

In case of wrong side/way driving -
1. driver should be arrested with an FIR u/s 307 IPC
2. Permanent cancellation of licence of vehicle & driver

This will help to curb this menace

In pune this is common and here the youtuber was lucky otherwise traffic cops don't even bother how any one is riding/driving. In pune common scenes are wrong side driving, riding without helmet, even can see few cars without number plate. And if traffic police launch some random checks mostly they stop out of state vehicles and minors who are riding/driving

Cops are not going to be there every time this sort of things happens. If and when somebody drives on wrong direction the license must be withdrawn and vehicle impounded. Over and above if an accident occurs as a result of wrong side driving the driver must be imprisoned and charged for attempted murder.

In India this is common. When crossing a road on foot, you must look both to the right first and then to the left before stepping into the road. There is always an idiot driving the wrong way

Bengaluru Traffic Police is probably the worst in the country at the moment. They just do not react to any offence as its not "VALUEABLE" enough for them.
1. Helmetless riders
2. Riding with cell phone stuck between the shoulder and head.
3. Four people on a two wheeler (because triple seat riding is so old-school)

And this is a direct representation of the pathetic governance in the state as well. Nobody in the administration is willing to admit or remedy the situation.

FYI - I am a localite, hard-core Bengaluru boy who's lived in this city for 45 years now. So I know what I'm talking about.

India has no law. This type of wrong side driving is seen in every place in India. The violator is coming out of the vehicle aggressively. Wrong side drivers should be heavily fined and license suspended for 5 years.

The sad thing is that it happens everywhere in our nation and not just in Bangalore. It needs courage to block the person on the wrong side. I guess each of us should be responsible citizens looking for the comfort of the other drivers rather than our own comfort.
