Whether this video is reversed or not, whichever side of the path is correct for travel, the cyclist is in the wrong. Believing that you are on the correct side of a path does not entitle you to ram another person (and dog). Whether or not the cyclist could have maneuvered around the pedestrian, the cyclist could EASILY have stopped, and avoided this collision. It was not an ACCIDENT. This deliberate impact amounts to assault with a weapon.
Before anyone shouts at me, I am a regular cyclist, and am habituated to sharing space with pedestrians and with motorists, in heavy traffic. MY safety depends on awarenes and politeness.
