Well that's blown up my idea and most of my songs because I assumed AABA WAS the verse: Line 1 - A (8 bars/measures), Line 2 -A, line 3 -B (ditto), line 4 -A. Then pre-chorus, chorus (would be C also 8 bars), and repeat for as many verses/chorus as required. The structure becomes: intro -> [AABA ->pre->chorus->verse/chorus 2 -N] outro. Not surprisingly, the early songs has a solo instead of chorus.

It seems you're saying the song has 3 A verses and a B bridge.

I hear some Gilmore vibes in your voice. A soaring guitar solo would take this one to new heights! Let me write a guitar part this this :)

I struggle with bridges in my songs. That seems to be hardest for me.

Why isn't the bridge in your song not a chorus? It sounded like a chorus to me. But I'm a newbie in songwriting.

Writing ✍️ a song without a chorus!? 😳
That’s blasphemy unless you are Queen 👑 😂

Ok, never mind. You explained that the bridge doesn't use the title of the song. But it's still confusing. :/

How about a song with no bridge? A chorus seems easier to me than a bridge.

Could you analyze the structure of the song "Thrasher" by Neil Young?
