We will also discuss the different types of MS medications and their specific mechanisms of action. My goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of the science behind multiple sclerosis treatment options and help you better understand how these medications work.

Tecfidera is the Evil Twin to Vumerity. Tecfidera nearly un-alived me.

I was on Tecfidera in the past and currently on Vumerity. They have worked well for me with minimal side effects, for me anyways. Vumerity has had less side effects than Tecfidera. I have had a fairly moderate disease course on or off meds. I had MS for 18 years before getting a diagnosis. I finally got diagnosed in my mid 40s whenever I started going through the dreaded perimenopause....yes, hormones did affect my MS...I did see your other video on that. It was quite apparent perimenopause affected me dramatically. ok, enough with my rambling...I give the fumarates a thumbs up, my opinion anyways 😉

And I’m struggling to see what the point in this statement is there is a reason behind it 🤷‍♂️ - any further explanation would be helpful

Well, what's the unique way they work? I take Tecfidera, 3+ years now, no side effects unless I forget my coconut oil and CoQ 10 in the morning wth my Tecfidera. No new lesions or new symptoms.

Can we possibly discuss aHSCT for MS? After Tysabri and then Tecfidera, that was the way I went and now 5yrs and 2days later I can say with certainty that, THAT was the best decision I ever made AND I wish I had done it sooner! aHSCT is what Selma Blair did for her MS also.

Is this as highly effective as say, Ocrevus?

I'm on techfidira since since it was released in Ireland and all is going well, no side effects that I notice

Taking tecfidera was like me taking a sugar pill. It didn't help at all, and found out the hard way that it isn't effective with aggressive RRMS.

On tysabri now.. but the damage was done while on tecfidera.

I was told I was on a big gun too (Tecfidera) along with me eating healthy and continuing exercising
Apparently I needed an AK-47 (tysabri)

See BG12(which became a Tecfidera) Vs Protandim 2011 clinical trials
Protandim worked much better than Tecfidera against mS
