SC grad here, I always wanted to go to ND. Two of my uncles went and one was a team manager during the Holtz era. He used to tell me all kinds of amazing stories about his experiences with the team. Then Rudy came out and we saw it a bunch throughout my childhood. Years later, I didnt get in to ND, instead I unbelievably found myself going to SC. It was better for what I studied, but I absolutely detested the Trojans and kept following and rooting for the Irish like I did since I was a kid.

This victory over Georgia was so amazing after that '12/'13 post season beat down we had against 'Bama. This felt like revenge for that!

The Irish havent won a natty since the year I was born. I'm hoping I get to see them win one this month.

As a nun-schooled kid, I cannot express how proud my father would be of you all, as I am today! Our Lady's Cathedral in Paris was recently reborn just weeks ago, as you are now. Every Hoosier & Irish kid in every home/bar/workplace cheered w/tears in Green and Gold! You gave us Joy in the face of tragedy, and reminded us that prayers DO get answered!💚🧡

Then the Dawgs were down by two scores,
Riley Leonard was quite good.
Georgia’s D-line tried to stop him,
But in the end they found they never could.

As someone who goes back to the 70s, there are 9 programs imo that stand out as most iconic to college football. Four of them made to the playoffs this season, and all four are still playing. Kinda cool. Maybe it was just 'cuz I was a kid, but it'd be even cooler if this tourney was in 1973. Texas mighta lost a couple that season, but the rest were undefeated I believe. And ND won the Natty (Creany!!).
