Yes kratos is holding back in the norse myth games but he has found other ways to fight the gods of that realm without letting his rage get the best of him. It has shown that he has matured and has grown stronger. Kratos has also gotten smarter and more controlled unlike in the greek games.

Yes, kratos prime is god of war 3 despite him being more powerful in the Norse games. He’s constantly holding back in those games where as in the Greek games he is letting loose all of his power and strength and has more weapons therefore making his Greek version his prime.
