I just upgraded from an iPhone 12 Pro to the 15 pro max and it’s like a whole new world. I used to upgrade every year. But times are tough. So this phone is amazing. The screen is beautiful!!!! I love this phone. Battery lasts forever and the max doesn’t seem as big as it used to last time I had a Max version.

Why it feels way lighter: Although it's <10% lighter, the weight distribution changes the moment of inertia around the x-axis by approx 15%. So when you are rotating or twisting the device in 3D space, it feels significantly lighter than it's initial specs would suggest.

Given the fact that colour options are the one of the only noticeable novelty in iPhone launches, apple will eventually run out of colours. Which means that Dave can finally get a Teal coloured iPhone.

I’ve had the auto portrait mode work on objects, too. Case in point: I was driving behind my wife in her car and took a picture. Well, the phone decided it had enough depth information - turned out to be a great portrait shot after I went in to adjust! Pretty cool.

Most reviewers sound like they've been paid to only talk about the pros but say nothing about the cons.

Only review so far I've seen that even _compared_ stuff like the camera quality, battery, and screen brightness to the older phones.

It's crazy that actually _testing_ stuff like demanding games and usability details is nowhere to be found in other reviews. Dave's still the best out there.

What I like about this is that Dave brought up the 60Hz refresh rate issue on the base model, plenty of tech reviewers gloss over it like it's nothing. That's one of the most important factors which influence buying decisions.

Thank you for going in-depth on the details regarding the hand feel, weight, fingerprints etc. I think these kind of details matter a little more to the everyday person rather than benchmark scores. 🙏🏾❤️

I think for the first time in a long time, the base models are much compelling than the Pro models. (last year, nobody even considered the base 14)

i've seen a lot of videos about the new iphone as i am in fact browsing to change my iphone X half broken and beat up.

15 Pro 256GB is the sweet spot, to me. The action button is an awesome hardware addition, the titanium chassis is great, USB 3 transfer speeds will be nice to dump RAW footage and 4K videos to my laptop
