The homeowner giving the tour, makes it so sentimental, you can tell he’s enjoyed this house for years 😭🥺

This house is the first house to make me wish I was wealthy enough to both buy and maintain the house. It feels so safe and warm to the point it feels euphoric. It is also the first house that doesn't make me want to remodel stuff.

Can you imagine growing up in such a beautiful home? Some people are sure lucky. What a beautiful place. I hope whoever gets this home and land, does not change one thing. Walking through the grounds must be a dream. So glad I got to see this.

I like how the presenter doesn't try to overshadow the owner. It was just a spiritual feeling to understand someone's emotion towards their home. Obviously the house is so brilliant and ZEN, but it have a soul because of all these stories and details.

The owners were visionaries, what a masterpiece. I'd find it impossible to let go if I was the son.

What I love the most about the place is that it is in no way gaudy or flashy it just gives out this aura of elegance and timeless beauty. Also love love love all the original furnitures I do hope the next owner will keep most of it the way it is.

Finally, a house with a history, design, and build that's actually worth the cost!

This is absolutely incredible. The kind of home that was created with lots of attention to detail, story, and history by the original owners. I hope that the next buyer doesn't change a thing!

Really stunning home and you can tell how much it means to the owner. It actually makes me sad to know he’s selling it

Most favorite house on AD! It is also nice that we were able to hear from the actual owner :) As a Japanese person, I really appreciate the passion and effort they put into this house. It is amazing that many things were custom made, not just imported from Japan.

I LOVE that they brought in the son to talk about the history and the memories of the house he grew up in. You can tell he was really happy there. I hope they find buyers who will appreciate all the little details!

Some houses on here are expensive just to be expensive but this is different because it was a home for 2 generations and was designed with practicality and beauty in mind. Love it.

Very nice house! You can tell the original owner really was building his own house to then live inside it, there’s no opulence even though it’s massive. I think Mark is not very keen to idea of selling the house, I had this feeling at the end while he was essentially waving us goodbye. Probably he has no other choice, I hope the future owner will treat the house well.

If I had a lot of money this is the only house I would pay that many millions for, is just breath taking, the attention to detail is sublime, the natural light, the views. Is really nice that you interviewed the owner, he grew up in this house and it shows, he seems really fond of his house
