Yeah, God is a cosmic horror on the level that makes Lovecraftian monsters seem like fluffy bunnies. An omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent is not capable of not doing something so all suffering is his fault. No matter how "Good" you are, if you are the source of the suffering you save others from and expect praise for it... that makes you far more evil than any good you could ever achieve.
