Gorgeous Prores overlays taken straight from real scans of Kodak 50D and 500T film stocks - all captured on the Arriflex 435 (unlike the fake digital "emulations" that so many other sites offer). We pulled out all the stops to create something never seen before - the first ever overscanned 8K film grain on the market (with options at 2K / 4K / 6K as well).

So no matter what resolutions your projects call for needs either now or in the future, you'll be able to cover every pixel in stunning film texture.

The pack includes multiple grain options (fine, coarse, and medium), to achieve the film look with maximum flexibility.

Need something subtle? Go with the Fine Grain set to Overlay blending mode. Or... want a bit more grunge? Try Medium or Coarse with a Hard Light blending mode. You'll get the gorgeous celluloid texture in just a few quick clicks.

How do you get the grain to not look terrible when compressed on export?

I’m curious why scanned at 8k. As IMAX 35mm film is roughly equivalent to 6K. not hating at all. Genuinely curious on the thought process. Interested in purchasing, looking for the most realistic vibe.

This looks so good! But what if my video is longer than 30 seconds? Do I have to copy/paste the grain on my timeline X amount of times?? 🤔 There probably is an easier way, no?

I’m wanting to use the 8mm film grain I just purchased for an Instagram filter through spark ar. Can’t seem to figure it out. Usually I don’t come here for answers but I’m at a loss. Any help?

hi. why are these grains separated into 35, 16, 8mm? which one should i get? how do i decide which one to get? for digital cameras, what is the relevance of grouping them in 35/16/8? is there a possibility to get the 35 and at some point thinking it was a mistake and i shouldve got the 16? or do they differ only aesthetically...?

Hey fellow filmmaker friends ! Maybe someone here could help me. I've been searching for a transition/effect for years now and still can't find it its exact name.
It's the one where you have like "marker-hadwritten" letters/text scrolling fastand vertically, almost looking like it's random. Usually on one side. kinda give a retro/old school feeling.
