Is my Baby Gaining Enough Weight?

Pediatrician Jay Gordon and Infant Feeding Specialist Cynthia Epps want to remind parents not to stress too much about their baby’s weight. If your baby is doing well, pooping, urinating, smiling, and generally meeting the appropriate milestones for their age, you do not need to worry about them if they are a few pounds under or over average weight. The important thing is that they are growing and thriving. Children with illnesses typically have more obvious symptoms than just their weight.

Great video! Our baby started out at the 75th percentile for weight and height. By 3 months her height was still at 75 but weight had dropped to 25th percentile. No other problems and such a happy baby. Trust your baby's innate and they will tell you if something is wrong.
