Controlling 2D motion of working table

Use the pink lever to move the yellow working table in two directions.
The lever has spherical joint with the green lower bracket and a cylindrical joint with the red ball of the green upper bracket.
For easy movement, the linear sliding joints should be equipped with sliding ball bearings.

do you have any videos on how an automatic door closer works? i cant figure out what mechanism makes the door easy to open, but when it closes, its very slow. Also it speeds up at the last few degrees to make sure the door has enough speed to latch (all done silently)
