For y’all needing to look it up: hydroxyapatite is added to toothpaste to help strengthen enamel and prevent cavities. Often folks use toothpaste with this rather than with fluoride.

Many many studies have shown that fluoride in toothpaste is linked with better dental and overall health outcomes than no fluoride, however comparisons between the two options are more limited. Hydroxyapatite is shown to be clinically beneficial and safe so have at it y’all!!
