Nerf N-Strike Elite Rough Cut 2x4 - Range Test (Stock)

This is a range test for the N-Strike Elite Rough Cut 2x4.

Shots were fired flat at shoulder height. There was a slight breeze going from left to right across the firing path.

Results (Single fire):
Low: 28ft
Mid: 44ft
High: 58ft

Results (Double shot):
Low: 32ft
Mid: 47ft
High: 55ft

Results (Slamfire):
Low: 26ft
Mid: 40ft
High: 47ft

Oh yes. I've had the blasters since they came out. Unfortunately the weather hasn't cooperated for testing. Same goes for the Stryfe.

The prime isn't difficult at all, but from occasionally I have issues with my hand slipping on the priming handle. I've heard from a few people that the best way of dealing with it is to take the priming grip off and reverse it, but I haven't tried actually tried it myself yet.

Yeah I was a little disappointed too, but this one seems to really operate like a shotgun. Focus is on spread instead of range. I've personally used in at an indoor Nerf war, and it's great for close quarters combat. Firing off both shots makes it very hard for your opponent to dodge.

Well this has convinced me to go for this gun in the HvZ game my college is having...now I need to get it, lots of ammo, and a side arm so I can protect myself when I end up shooting all this ammo and there will still be more coming.

Have you tried priming the Strongarm, firing and then pulling the priming bar with the trigger held down moments later? That puts out two darts really fast.

Its true that they say in the store (In my country : Netherland) that is easily goes 60 feet, because we all know they are saying half in stores... If it was completely without headwind such as in a airtight room it would go maybe on its best 70 feet!
