Rough Cut is an awesome improvement on the barrel break and while not perfect for hvz, looks cool and is a ton of fun.

Hey Drac what if you made an intergrated Retaliator with Roughcut? Or possibly Longhot with Roughtcut. I will be making a Retaliator barrel mod with the Roughcut for my First intergrated blaster ever then i will be adding the barrel to a Stryfe with the 25 dart drum and battery mod.Thanks to you and your videos I can proudly say you have shown many great ideas and when it is finished I will upload a video and explain how the blaster turned out and whether or not it is a good idea.

From what I've seen, some are easier to single fire than others. Mine, for instance is pretty tricky, but I've found that if I pull from the bottom of the trigger, It works a little better. That being said, I think it might be my new favorite blaster.

This gun as well as the recon re-casing and the alpha trooper redo all seem very good to my for weapons, as well as if you wanted to make some videos with (futuristic-ish?) guns (after some painting over, of course).

I used the Rough Cut for my first HVZ game, and it worked very well. Once you get the hang of shooting one at a time it's pretty fantastic.

I just got one of these myself, though it's a white color variant I bought at Target. Love this thing, the way it fires, the way it feels in my hand, love it. I'm finding it makes a nice secondary weapon in battle[my primary being my Rampage]. I do have to admit though that when looking at the tactical rail on this gun, I find myself wishing that Nerf would make a foam or plastic bayonet accessory for their blasters.

Have you tried the dart holder from the Barrel Break on this guy? I swear by it. Unload your first salvo, then in two quick motions you should be able to do a full reload in about five(?) seconds.

i keep mine as a secondary gun clipped on a dart belt. it's great for getting of those quick surprise shots and it has very good distance

Drac my target had this gun for $20 around Christmas. I came back after Christmas to buy it and was told the rough cut wasnt ever delivered there and I must have been mistaken. Yet low and behold I went to the website and iT said the gun was in stock. It is a gun and that was most likely why they lied also why did they need to spots for the hail fire? because the gun that had been there wasnt supposed to have.been on shelves
