Caramel
1 cup granulated sugar

Flan or Custard
6 eggs
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup granulated sugar

Chiffon cake :

1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup full cream milk
1 tsp lemon rind
6 egg yolk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cup cake flour

Meringue:

6 egg whites
1 or 1/2 tsp of cream of tartar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Note: On the video I failed to show you where to add the vanilla, add the vanilla after you added the sugar in the egg yolk (making the flan or custard.).

This is like a magic cake.Thank you again.More blessings to you and your family. I am baking this cake because where I am “hinde ako makakaen ng gusto ko” if I will not make it myself. So I will also share this cake with my other Pinoy Nurses in Pa, US.
I just baked it. Perfect taste and texture but I probably over baked it because the center of the flan cracked. But the taste is heavenly. Thanks Sweet Ambition.

As a pastry chef this is identical to the way i make mine and i must say when cutting the cake, use a heated knife..just run your knife under hot water after each cut in the cake and it makes it a smooth cut without the crumbs.

I just found this recipe and made it last night. I don't have cake pan this size, so I used my 10 inch cast iron skillet and turn out great!

thanks for sharing your custard cake recipe, very yummy and smooth. .. I adjust the caramel to 1/2 c sugar, 1/2 of condensed milk for custard, 1/3 c of sugar to meringue... 👍👍👍

This recipe perfectly fits an 8x12 rectangular baking pan. I bake the custard first in bain marie (water bath) around 15 to 20 minutes, before I pour in the cake batter and bake again.

to prevent the top from getting burnt or dark brown cover it with aluminium foil shine side down and not up.

The cake got a little bit of burnt because of the temp. Is too hot. It should be at 325 or 350 . But all in all nice cake. You can add alittle more egg yolk( maybe one more) to make the bread fluffier.

Please state what baking pan u r using on your videos to avoid people like me from asking everytime we want to try ur recipe.... Going to try 2 of your recipes, not knowing ur baking pan size is a bit of a bummer though... Thanks for sharing ...

the suger melt but when i stir it it becomes rocks ! it never worked with me 3 times no good so i put some water and wooorked xD
